Remembering Care Fair Tempe 2021

Unique Experience for Residents to Learn About Tempe Human Services

In 2021, due to the continuation of pandemic constraints, we opted to hold a Care Fair Community Story Walk in lieu of our annual in-person event.  This event helped residents BE CONNECTED in Tempe to learn how to get help and where you can give help.  Residents enjoyed the outdoors while strolling on the Escalante Park StoryWalk® trail with family, friends and neighbors.  While walking the trail, residents learned about Tempe human services and obtained information about free resources and opportunities available to Tempe residents.  Care Fair Tempe helps residents get connected with agencies who offer help with a specific area of need and opportunities to volunteer or donate needed items.

All of us could use some support at times or may want to help others who need support.  Each year thousands of Tempe residents are able to seek services for such areas as aging, dementia, youth and families, homelessness, addiction, abuse, loneliness, isolation, disabilities, healthcare, mental health, financial assistance, hunger, jobs and more.

Your tax dollars and Together Tempe donations help provide over $1 million each year to bring services to those in Tempe.

View the storywalk video above or click on the links below and get connected, too.

From the Get Help links, just put a keyword in the search such as “seniors” or “shelter” and see what pops up!
