Tax Returns for International Students

Are you an international/non-resident student needing to file our taxes?

Tax returns needing to be filed for international or non-resident students are generally unable to be assisted at our tax site.  Please do not schedule a tax appointment online.

ASU provides Sprintax software that is designed for Non-Resident Students and there is no charge for preparing and e-filing the Federal Return.  International/non-resident students are to review the tax Information provided by ASU at https://issc.asu.edu/. 

For 2025 – Sign-up for the Tempe Community Council-hosted instructional webinar being offered in March on how to file your tax returns using Sprintax.  The virtual webinar will be presented by a certified Sprintax trainer.  The date and time of this training will be posted through ASU International Students and Scholars Center at which time you can register for the session through ISSC office. 

The session will be recorded and available following the training.
