Two Threadz clothes closets are available as a FREE resource for Tempe middle and high school teens from the Tempe Union, Tempe Elementary and Kyrene school districts (school ID required). Both Threadz locations carry a wide selection of new and/or gently-used items.
Become a Threadz Volunteer!
Help make a different in the lives of local teens by volunteering at one of our Threadz teen clothes closet locations. Whether it’s staffing a site during open hours or sorting and stocking donated clothing and items, your support will crate a positive welcoming environment for students seeking items they need.
Volunteer commitment can be flexible – whether you you can spare a few hours here and there, or commit to 6-12 hours a month, your time is greatly appreciated. Even a few hours each week makes a significant impact!
Volunteers are urgently needed. Threadz relies on dedicated volunteers to keep the sites running smoothly. By joining the amazing Threadz volunteer team, you’ll help ensure that students have the resources they need to success and stay in school.
To view all volunteer opportunities, register to be a volunteer through our volunteer management portal. Once registered, be sure to “fan” the Threadz program. Registering does not commit you to volunteering but allows us to keep in touch with you, and you may even find other TCC volunteer opportunities.
